Professor Armando V. Salarza is an international concert organist, titular organist of the Bamboo Organ and conductor and trainer of the Las Piñas Boys Choir. In 1992, he finished his post graduate studies of Organ Concert Performance under (+) Prof. Herbert Tachezi at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria after having earned with distinction an M.A. in Church Music and a Teacher’s Certificate at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Graz, Austria under Dr. Prof. Johann Trummer.
Prof. Salarza is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bamboo Organ Foundation, Inc. and Diego Cera Organ Builders, Inc. Throughout his career as a concert organist, he has given numerous performances in the Philippines, all over Europe, Russia and the United States. He recently had a successful Tri-City Concert Tour in Russia (Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Moscow) together with Stefanie Quintin. Prof. Salarza is also presently a faculty member of the St. Scholastica’s College of Music, San Beda College in Alabang and University of the Philippines College of Music where he is teaching pipe organ, harpsichord and liturgical music.
