Yesterday's fight over De la Hoya was astounding! People from all walks of life, especially Filipinos from all over waited patiently for this day to happen.

People have different views and comments about this fight. Some people views this game as "Pacquiao's last", some even speculated that Pacquiao will loose over the height and longer arm length of De la Hoya. Some say that Pacquiao's speed, dedication and strategy will make him win the game. 

I kept saying to myself, i will not watch the game, but Round after round, my heart pounds as Pacqiao and De la Hoya exchange punches in the face, cheek and body. "let this be over with!" i shouted!

Though i can see that Pacquiao is in good shape and is doing well with every round, still the fear is there, "What if  mapuruhan sya or something?"

By the time De la Hoya stood up and embraced Pacquiao by the end of round 8, ahhhh... a sigh of relief... it's over!  Pacquiao winsover De la Hoya via TKO!

Not only were we have pity over the injuries of De la Hoya that made us emotional, but the meer fact that after all the commotion, Manny was able to kneel down for a few seconds to thank the Lord of his victory. 

Truly, his win doesn't only uplift the spirits of the Filipinos, but also a great accomplishement for his hardwork and dedication to the sport.
