A great way to view Bohol’s nature and unwind with friends and family is to have lunch in a floating restaurant. Choose between a wide variety of floating restaurants along the Loboc river and experience Bohol’s native cuisines and fabulous view of the river. This is a must try experience when you visit Bohol. As you indulge in the buffet the restaurants has to offer, you can choose from a variety of dishes like fried chicken, vegetables, grilled fish, pork barbecue, white rice and soup. For dessert, you can choose between bananas, watermelon, pineapple, mangoes with bagoong, calamay and corn.
Enjoy the soft breeze as the floating restaurant takes you to a 45 minute tour of the river. And by the end of the river, a mini-cascading waterfall will welcome you together with a group of young people dancing and singing to entertain passersby. If you want to see a great waterfall beyond that point, you can rent a smaller boat to take you there. (Price depends on the size of the boat.) It’s a short trip but a great time to unwind, sit back and relax with nature. The view is definitely breathtaking and is best enjoyed between 10am to 4pm (to be able to see and enjoy the view). As we disembark the floating restaurant, I feel satisfied with the trip, and enjoyed what Bohol’s nature has to offer. Truly, a must see and experience once you are in Bohol.
